PARC DU RUISSEAU DES AYGALADES
Reconnecting the northern neighborhoods and offering residents a new quality of life
The future Aygalades Stream Park will transform the former Canet train station into a large green corridor in the heart of Marseille’s northern districts.
Covering 16 hectares, this abandoned railway site will become a public space combining nature, biodiversity, and new uses, thanks to the renaturation of the watercourse.
This project reconnects the surrounding neighborhoods, rebalances access to nature between north and south, and offers residents a sustainable, shared living space. It will also serve as a high-capacity flood control structure in the event of flooding.
