ONE CENTRAL PARK
Sea Mirror
The heliostat is a mirror structure that follows the sun’s path to redirect sunrays during the daytime. It is equipped with video-operated LED dots. By night, this device not only reproduces animations of water captured in the Sydney Harbour, but also, allegorically retransmits the sun’s variations.
Our light installation can be seen from the park but also from the city and the surrounding buildings. It thereby creates a poetic night signal in the urban Sydney skyline.
